What is BetMirror?

BetMirror allows you to invest alongside talented traders, poker players, and prediction market experts. Instead of trading yourself, you vault your vaults with other investors and let skilled "Talents" manage them.

How Does It Work?

The Vault Lifecycle

Each talent vault operates in repeating cycles with three distinct phases:

1️⃣ Deposit Window (Open for Investment)

  • The vault is open and accepting new deposits
  • You can deposit USD and receive vault shares in return
  • Your shares represent your proportional ownership of the vault
  • Initial deposits: 1 USD = 1 Share
  • Later deposits: Share price reflects the vault's current performance

2️⃣ Active Period (Trading/Playing) - Typically 1-2 months

  • vault are transferred to the exchange/platform where the Talent operates
  • Deposits and withdrawals are locked during this time
  • The Talent uses the pooled vault for:
    • Crypto Trading: Active trading on cryptocurrency exchanges
    • Poker: Playing in tournaments or cash games
    • Prediction Markets: Making informed bets on future events

3️⃣ Settlement Window (Open for Withdrawal)

  • Vaults return to the vault contract
  • Performance is calculated and fees are deducted (if applicable)
  • Open for a few days allowing you to:
    • Withdraw your investment (sell shares for USD)
    • Add more vaults (buy more shares)
    • Hold your position for the next cycle

What Are Shares?

Fee Structure

Fees are designed to align the Talent's interests with yours - they only earn when you profit.

Performance-Based Fees (High Water Mark)

  • Only charged on NEW profits above the previous highest value
  • Calculated when vaults return from the exchange
  • Split between:
    • Talent Fee: Rewards the skilled individual managing the vaults
    • Platform Fee: Supports the BetMirror platform

  1. Initial deposit: 10,000 USD (HWM = $1/share)
  2. First cycle: Returns 12,000 USD → Fees on 2,000 profit
  3. Second cycle: Returns 11,000 USD → NO fees (below HWM)

High Water Mark protects you: Talents must recover any losses before earning fees again.
